Many people strive to "eat healthier", but in reality, a lot of people who meet me at my clinic tell me that their hectic lifestyle makes it difficult for them to add nutritious food to their daily diet. They think that healthy eating takes too much time and preparation, and this frustrates them.

On one hand, there is a heightened awareness of the importance of healthy dieting. People realize how meaningful it is to their health, both in the short and long term. But on the other hand, life's busy pace sometimes gets in the way of making the right choices.

One of the solutions I recommend is adding shakes to the daily routine. This is a quick, simple and effective option that allows people to consume nutritious ingredients even in the busiest of days.

Want to know how you can prepare shakes that cater to your specific needs, and which can make your life healthier?

Shakes: A quick, simple and nutritious solution

Shakes are great because they can easily combine superfoods, whose high nutritional values really make a difference. For example, Mankai – a superfood that anyone can add to their shake and receive nutritional advantages.

Way to go, Mankai!

Mankai is the world's tiniest leafy vegetable, but its small size is complemented by huge nutritional values. Mankai has 60 essential nutrients that include complete protein, iron, vitamin B12, antioxidants, folic acid, omega 3, nutritious fibers and many minerals. Furthermore, Mankai is almost tasteless, which makes it the perfect addition to all kinds of foods – including shakes.

In addition to its impressive nutritional prowess, Mankai's nutrients are easily absorbed in the human body. Due to its unique structure, Mankai does not have absorption blockers that other superfoods have, and therefore our bodies can utilize its advantages in optimal fashion.

Mankai's health impact is really surprising. Clinical studies have proven that a consistent consumption of Mankai, as part of a daily diet routine, helps improve health and the functions of body organs and systems, including the heart, gut, liver and brain.

Let's make a Mankai shake!

Mankai is available in its entirety, as a natural concentrated frozen product, which is ready for eating and can be added to a wide range of shakes.

Here are two recipes for shakes that you can easily make at home, which will boost your daily nutrition:

Green Shake

Ingredients for one person:

  • 2 Mankai superballs

  • ½ green apple

  • ½ avocado

  • ½ cucumber

  • ½ banana

  • 1 date

  • Mint leaves to taste

  • 1 cup of water (add more or less according to your desired texture)

  • Add ice if you want your shake extra-cold

Purple Shake

Ingredients for one person:

  • 2 Mankai superballs

  • ½ cup of blueberries

  • 4 strawberries

  • ½ banana

  • 1 date

  • 1 cup of water or almond milk (add more or less according to your desired texture)

  • Add ice if you want your shake extra-cold

You can even add Mankai to water!

If you don't have time to make a shake, you can still enjoy Mankai on the go. Take a Mankai superball and just melt it in a glass of water. Simply mix, drink and enjoy. Mankai hardly has any flavor, so you can enjoy it this way, as well. Kicking off the day with Mankai-enhanced water gets your body ready for work, but that's not to say that you can't have a Mankai-and-water drink in the evening, right after work. Morning, afternoon or evening – incorporating Mankai into your daily routine is perfect just about anytime.
